What we handle

Most of what we do

From one specialist you've been putting off to a surgery or a pregnancy. Whatever brings you in, we've almost certainly handled it before.

Insurance, or pay as you go — you choose

In Argentina, private healthcare works either through insurance (a prepaga) or by paying doctors and clinics directly. Both are completely normal ways to get care here — neither one is the "right" way.

Going through insurance

A monthly fee, priced by your age, that covers healthcare within that insurer's network. Which plan you pick decides which doctors and hospitals you can reach — so we compare real plans against what you actually need and handle the enrolment and stay with you through the first month of the policy.

Paying as you go

No enrolment, no waiting to be activated, no network limits — you see whichever doctor is right for you and pay for that visit or study. Often the better choice for shorter stays.

Either way, we walk you through how the system is actually structured — what's covered, what isn't, and how to exist in it without guessing.

The symptom you've been living with

Gastrointestinal problems. Migraines. Snoring and broken sleep. Back and joint pain. Skin, hair loss, palpitations, blood pressure you've been meaning to check. None of it is an emergency, so all of it waits — sometimes for years. Most of our work starts here: the right specialist, the studies that actually settle the question, and an answer instead of a guess.

Women's and men's health

Gynaecology and urology. Contraception, breast screening, perimenopause, recurring cystitis, prostate, fertility questions long before they become fertility plans.

These are the consultations people postpone longest — not because they matter less, but because of what it takes to explain them in a language you only half-speak.

Children

A paediatrician who takes the time to explain. Vaccinations, and how the Argentine schedule fits the one you started at home. The medical certificate the school asks for. Dentists, orthodontists, allergies, the specialist referral you were told to arrange.

An annual checkup, done properly

Done properly means the studies that answer the question, not the ones that are easy to book: a contrast MRI when the plain one won't settle it, the colonoscopy you've been avoiding, hormone and thyroid panels read by a specialist rather than filed away. And if something does turn up, you're not starting from zero.

A chronic condition

The consultations are the small part. What consumes people is everything around them: prescriptions that expire, medication that isn't stocked here or goes by another name, authorisations your insurer wants renewed, studies due every three months that nobody reminds you about. We hold all of it.

Psychiatric and ADHD care

Where being understood precisely is the whole point, and a rough summary won't do. Our founder and medical translator Yanina interprets those consultations herself.

ADHD as well — assessment here, or picking up treatment you started somewhere else, which works differently in Argentina than it did at home.

And when it goes further

These are rarer. They're also where all of it matters most, and where we've spent the years that make the rest straightforward.

Surgical team in an operating room in Buenos Aires

Planned surgery

Any surgery you can plan for, starting from the small ones: a mole removed, a deviated septum corrected, carpal tunnel. Then hernia repair, gallbladder, kidney stones, varicose veins, ACL. Cosmetic surgery as well, if that's what brings you.

Handled from the first consultation to the last follow-up. You will not be the only English speaker in the operating room — we coordinate with the surgeon and the surgical team ahead of time, we're there on the day, we translate with the surgeon and the anaesthetist, and we're at the hospital during recovery until you're discharged.

Most people put off a surgery abroad for years. This is how you finally do it — properly, and not alone.

Fertility, pregnancy and birth

If you're trying to have a child, we coordinate the whole arc — the fertility specialist, the workup for both partners, IVF or insemination, and every monitoring appointment along the way. The same through a pregnancy: the studies at each stage, arrangements with the clinic for the birth, cord blood banking. Yanina is with you at the consultations, and at the birth itself if you want her there.

Whatever brings you in, we've almost certainly handled it before.

We know where the process usually breaks, which clinic answers the phone, and which insurance answer gets you a yes.
