Yanina, hello! I wanted to thank you for your support! If it weren't for you, I probably wouldn't have gotten anything done. I'm so glad I finally got checked out.

All I have left to do is go back to the therapist and finally get the endoscopy. I have a terrible resistance to it because I've never been under anesthesia before. But I'll gather my courage and let you know. It would be great if you could accompany me.

When I go to the doctor with you, I finally feel confident during the appointment, as if I'm speaking the same language as the doctor. Thanks to your presence, I'm not afraid that my words will be misunderstood, and that this will lead to an incorrect diagnosis. I'm also confident that I will understand exactly what the doctor says. And if I don't understand something, with your help, I can ask for clarification and ask all the questions I need to.

Just yesterday, we went to the pediatric dentist ourselves, using Google Translate, and we felt insecure and uncomfortable. Google Translate didn't really help us either ask questions or get clear answers.

I'm sure that when I or a member of my family is with you at the doctor's office, everything will be fine and safe. I trust you to be there during the most vulnerable moments. I've already been with you to the gynecologist, the psychiatrist, for a breast ultrasound, and even for laser eye surgery. I think that's a pretty high level of trust.

With you, I'm confident that the best possible doctor will be chosen, and that if something goes wrong (for example, the doctor gets sick and our appointment is canceled, but we need to see a doctor urgently), you will do everything you can to resolve it in the best way for me. I don't have to worry about where to go for tests, what's needed for them, or how to get an appointment with the doctor. You even thoughtfully provide information about how to prepare for tests or analyses.
