Services, pricing and FAQ

Two parts. You only pay for what you use.

Coordination — monthly, per specialist. Accompaniment to a doctor — per appointment.

All prices in USD, and all of them are MEDA's fee. Doctors, clinics, laboratories and insurance you pay directly — we tell you what each of those will cost before anything is booked.

Part 1

Coordination

One specialist$100per month
Several specialists$250per month · unlimited
Several, longer case$200per month · two paid upfront
Included in all three:
  • finding the right doctor for your problem
  • booking the appointment
  • every test and scan the doctor orders, price-compared across centres and booked
  • results collected and returned to the doctor who ordered them
  • medical reports translated
  • your Argentine insurer dealt with on your behalf
  • a second opinion from another specialist if you want one

The month starts at your first appointment, not when you pay.

Waiting three weeks for a good specialist costs you nothing — the clock begins when you walk into the consulting room. One month is normally enough to complete the studies a doctor orders and come back to that same doctor with the results. If a case runs longer, we continue at the same rate. And if something is simply waiting on a date, we don't charge you for waiting.

Further appointments with the same doctor inside that month cost only the accompaniment — the coordination fee doesn't repeat.

We work with Argentine insurers. If you're covered by a travel or international policy, everything else still applies — but claims with a provider abroad stay with you.

Part 2

Accompaniment to a doctor

Yanina in the room with you, translating the whole conversation — what the doctor says, and what you want to ask. A written English summary afterwards, on request.

In person$80with coordination
By phone or video$60with coordination
On the day of a studyFreewe're on the phone

Interpreting only, without coordination: $100 in person, $70 by phone or video. Study-day phone support isn't included.

Smaller ways to start

Intro call $80

Thirty minutes on your situation — what care you need here, what the sensible order is, what it will take. We don't name doctors on this call; what you leave with is a route for your problem.

If you go on to work with us, the $80 comes off your first month of coordination.

Insurance, and how the Argentine medical system works $160

An hour with Yanina on how medicine actually works here — public, private, prepagas, and what your money buys at each level. After the call we compare real quotes across insurers for your situation, not averages.

You choose, and we stay with you through the first month of the policy, when the questions start.

If you decide to take a policy, we sign you up for it ourselves — the forms, the medical declaration, the back-and-forth with the insurer. You don't touch any of it.

Where the work goes further

Not everything ends at a consultation. Some of what we do runs for months and sits much deeper inside the system.

Fertility

If you're trying to have a child, we coordinate the whole arc: the fertility specialist, the workup for both partners that decides which route makes sense, IVF or insemination, and every monitoring appointment along the way. These protocols move fast — appointments booked at a day's notice, near-daily contact with the clinic, decisions made quicker than in ordinary care. That pace is exactly where language becomes the problem, and exactly what we take off you.

Freezing your eggs

If you're not trying to conceive now but want the option later, Argentina is a good place to do it and a straightforward one to arrange. Consultation, hormone panels, the stimulation cycle and the retrieval — with clinics and costs compared before you commit to any of it.

Surgery

Any surgery, cosmetic ones included. Accompaniment on the day, interpreting with the surgeon and the anaesthetist, and — if you want — into the operating room itself and through each stage. Then the recovery days, the discharge, and the follow-up appointments after it.

Pregnancy and birth

Coordination through each trimester, the studies at every stage, arrangements with the clinic for the birth, cord blood banking. Yanina is with you at the consultations — and at the birth itself, if you want her there. We take only a small number of births at a time, so that when yours begins, the time is already yours.

These are priced case by case — the shape of each one is too different for a standard rate. Tell us what you're facing and we'll quote it.

How to pay

Cash, bank transfer to an Argentine account, or crypto. Same price for all three.

PayPal, at 12% more. PayPal's fees on international payments are high enough that we can't absorb them. If it's the method that suits you, it's available — the 12% is what it costs us, not a markup.

When you pay

Coordination in advance, when we start work. Accompaniment on the day of the appointment.

Questions people ask

I'm not here for long. Is this worth it?

Short stays are where this matters most. From about three weeks there's enough time to see a specialist, complete the studies they order and come back with the results — but only if none of that time goes on working out how the system runs. On your own that's usually the first two weeks. For us it's already done.

Can we start before I arrive in Argentina?

Yes, and it's often what saves the most time. Good specialists are booked weeks ahead, so the work done before you land is the reason your first week here isn't spent waiting.

What isn't included in these prices?

Everything you would be paying anyway: the doctors, the clinics, the laboratories, the insurance. Those you pay directly, and we tell you what each one will cost before it's booked. Our fee is only what's on this page.

Do you take a commission from doctors or clinics?

No. Doctors don't pay to be recommended by us, and we take nothing from clinics or laboratories for sending you there.

There's a more practical reason to trust the recommendation, though. We stay in your case for as long as it runs, so we live with it too. Send you to the wrong doctor and we're the ones rebooking, chasing and starting again alongside you. It is very much in our interest that you're happy with who you see.

Do you get anything from the insurance companies?

No. You pay us for the advice; the insurer pays us nothing for registering you.

And whatever policy you end up on, we're the ones working inside it — asking it for authorisations, arguing with it if it says no. A plan that looks good on paper and blocks everything in practice makes our work harder, not just yours. We want you on something we can actually work with.

Can I book one appointment with an interpreter and nothing else?

Yes — $100 in person, $70 by phone or video. That's the right choice if you already have your doctor and simply need the consultation understood. It's the wrong one if the doctor is going to order studies, because that's where most of the real work turns out to be.

What if my case finishes in two weeks? Or runs into a third month?

The month starts at your first appointment, and one month is normally enough to see a doctor, complete the studies and come back with the results. If it finishes sooner, you've paid for the case rather than the calendar. If it runs longer, we continue at the same rate — and we don't charge you for time spent waiting on a date.

Will I be dealing with Yanina, or with someone else?

Both. Yanina chooses your doctors and handles the consultations herself. Scheduling, confirmations and the day-to-day chasing are shared with the team — but nothing reaches you that hasn't gone through her first.
